Jessica Allard, instructor

Jessica Allard received her bachelor's degree in Dance Performance with a dual concentration in ballet and jazz from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. Jessica performed professionally with Surfscape Contemporary Dance Theatre of New Smyrna Beach for 8 years. She founded the IB Dance program at Pedro Menendez High School and directed the program for 9 years. Jessica earned her Masters Degree in educational leadership from Florida State University in 2018. Jessica’s early training was at The ann hebard school of ballet and the Dance Company of St. Augustine. she attended Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, where she was a member of the Dance Theatre for three years and a recipient of the “Bravo” award for excellence in dance. She attended summer programs at the Orlando Ballet , the Joffrey Ballet , the Nashville Ballet and the Florida Dance Festival. Jessica has been privileged to work with choreographers such as Francesca Harper, Nicholas Petrov, Peter Merz, Ronen Koresh, Ann Sorvino and Alison Seidenstricker. She has had the opportunity to teach and choreograph in various parts of the us. Her choreography has been featured at the National High School Dance Festival. Jessica currently guest teaches throughout NE Florida and is an adjudicator for Fusion National Dance Competition. Jessica has been teaching at TDC since 2011.
