Tuition and Scholarships

Per Class Tuition
Tuition is based on number of hours taken per week by student or family. The following amounts are per month (August-May).

  • 1 hour/week – $60
  • 1.5 hours/week – $85
  • 2 hours/week – $105
  • 2.5 hours/week – $120
  • 3 hours/week – $130
  • 3.5 hours/week – $145
  • 4 hours/week – $155
  • 4.5 hours/week – $170
  • 5 hours/week – $180
  • 5.5 hours/week – $195
  • 6 hours/week – $210
  • 7 hours/week – $225
  • 8 hours/week – $245
  • 9 or more hours/week – $260

Unlimited Classes Tuition
Students or families enrolling in 9 or more hours per week pay a flat tuition for unlimited classes.

  • unlimited classes: $260

 

Fees
The following fees are paid once per season (year). Recital fees help to cover expenses for the Spring performance.

  • Registration fee – $25 per student; $45 per family
  • Recital fee – $45 per family
  • Costume fee – $65 per class

Payment Policies
Payment is due the first week of each month, August – May. There is a $20 late charge for all payments received after the 10th day of the month. Returned checks are subject to a $30 charge. Registration fees, recital fees and costume fees are non-refundable. Monthly fees remain the same despite fewer classes (holidays) or more classes (5-week months). Refunds are issued in the form of TDC Credit. No cash refunds are provided.

Scholarships
It is our desire to provide an equitable opportunity for students to dance despite circumstances, financial hardship or a change in personal situations. The procedure for scholarships is outlined below:

  1. At registration or at any time upon a change of circumstances, a request for a scholarship or tuition assistance can be requested.
  2. As confidentiality is of prime importance, all applications will be viewed solely by the Executive Director and Board of Directors.
  3. If additional information is needed, the Executive Director and Board of Directors may request an interview/meeting.
  4. Everyone is eligible for potential tuition assistance, regardless of income level. A simple budget worksheet and interview will provide the Director/Board with information that will deem eligibility for tuition assistance and scholarship.
